That lesson is: Just go with the flow.
Mom is able to do it. I can too!
We did a lot on break and I saw a lot on break for the first time. It was just mom and I for a week. Amber was at work for most of the week and most of the days. She didn't get home to 5ish most nights. Mom and I worked on things together and got a lot done. I know mom was happy having me there for a week needing her help on things. I kept her busy for sure.
We got a lot done. She went to the dentist with me. She wrote the addresses on my wedding invitations because her writing looks more artistic then mine. Her writing is a lot more readable then mine too. As I kept getting addresses to me, she kept writing them. We got stamps to out in them too. We also sorted my wedding things into plastic boxes that we went and got the same day. We also met with a wedding planner.
I also helped her lot too. We got the Christmas decorations put up and put back right in the storage room. I also helped put a bed together while I was there. We made some beds too.
We also did two very important things. My mom went with me to get my hair cut and styled like Belle's to see how it would look with the dress before we went to try on my dress. We went to try on my dress and get it altered the way I wanted it. There are only 3 things that need to be changed on it. After that, we went and got Andy's.
The important lesson I leaned through all of this was just "let go and go with the flow". Mom taught me that over Spring break probably without knowing it. I saw her just growing with the flow. If she wanted to do something right then like go shopping, she would. If she wanted to stay and talked to a friend, she would. If she noticed that we would be ealry for something because we got other things done fast, we would go for a small walk around a small lake. If she just wanted to relax, she would.
My mom is a strong women no matter what she goes through. She has God on her side and looks to Him for everything. That's another important lesson I can learn from her.
